Welcome to our ultimate list of all GAMSAT free online resources.
Chances are if you've found this page that you'll soon be sitting GAMSAT and you've quickly realized that it can be an expensive affair! For that reason I've made this list of free Gamsat resources and materials to help ease the burden.

Just registering for the test is itself quite expensive and that's before you even start buying any extra materials which are almost a NECESSITY if you want to pass.
That's because GAMSAT is so competitive.
Warning! 80% of people who take the test will fail.
Because normally you need to score in the top 20% to have any chance of getting an interview.
And if you're one of the 80% that means no university interview and certainly no offer of a place.
The result....you have to wait until next year and do it all over again.
That's ANOTHER $510 / €338 / £265 in test fees right there, straight off the bat.
Wasted time, wasted money and wasted effort.
The vast majority of people do anything and everything to avoid this of course by buying multiple sets of GAMSAT preparation books, courses, practice tests etc etc.
It's an extra and unwanted cost yes.
But the cost of failure is even higher.
You just have to take a look at the student forums or Facebook groups every year after the test and see what people are selling.
You'll find loads of people selling bundles of GAMSAT prep materials worth hundreds of $$$ from virtually every prep company under the sun.
They post their photos of all their books laid out on the floor like one huge mosaic.
That's how seriously people take it.
That's your competition right there.
Of course you can save yourself some money by using some of the many free GAMSAT resources which I'll set out below (the ultimate list).
There's a lot of good websites online which provide useful information about the test or science teaching or essay writing tips etc.
But don't JUST rely on them completely for your GAMSAT preparation.
Because everyone else has access to them also.
And if you just use what everyone else is using you'll be putting yourself at a competitive disadvantage.

Free Resources For Section 1
Otherwise known as "Reasoning in the Humanities and Social Sciences" this part of the exam tests skills in the interpretation and understanding of ideas in social and cultural contexts.

Free Resources For Section 2
Also known as the Written Communication section it will test your ability ability to produce and develop ideas in writing. It involves two thirty-minute writing tasks.

Free Resources For Section 3
Section 3 also denominated Reasoning in the Biological and Physical Scieces tests the recall and understanding of basic science concepts in addition to reasoning and problem solving within a scientific context.

Free Worked Answers To ACER Practice Tests
While the official ACER tests are undoubtedly one of the best resources you can use to prepare for the test they do however suffer from the drawback that they have no worked solutions.
This means that they're good for testing your skills but not so useful for learning them. We've solved this by making worked answer solutions videos to all five of the official ACER Gamsat practice tests.
